Me too. He's the hardest RM in MegaMan 2 (and, actually, the only one who gives real trouble...).

Crash Man isn't hard. Use Air Man's weapon and he dies very fast.

Usually, the first boss you ever get to fight in the game is Metal Man.

I always pick Metal Man first... His weapon is great.

Though I have beaten all the megaman games, megaman 2 wasn't one of my favorites (even though it seems to be everyone else's) I don't remember who I would go after first. Probably MetalMan, but I can't be sure.

3 was my favorite (only because for the longest time, it was the only MM cartridge I had, and I played the shit out of it)

3 and 2 ARE the best. 1 is too short and others are getting too repetitive.

Metal Man IS to battle first. Easy, can handdle Wood Man, Air Man and Flash Man, which can help you deal easily with Crash's motherfucker stage.

The closest I've come to beating a classic MM game is seven robot masters in MM2. I officialy suck.

The closest for me was also MM2, but the fucking 3rd boss in Wily Fortress.
